Cheristow Cottages are a group of self-catering holiday cottages in North Devon’s Hartland Peninsula, a UNESCO designated area of outstanding natural beauty, less than 2.5 hours’ drive from Bristol, 1.5 miles from one of the most dramatic stretches of the South West Coast Path and close to Cornwall.

These cottages are ideal for dog friendly holidays in Devon as there are many dog-friendly pubs and beaches, and of course there are numerous wonderful walks in the area.

Great for family holidays in Devon – children are very welcome to run free in the picnic/play area and to help the owners feed the chickens and ducks; cots and high-chairs can be provided for younger ones. Cheristow cottages offer the perfect place for old-fashioned family holidays. Go rock-pooling, fly a kite, build a den… The peninsula has a remote feel and families can simply relax and enjoy the surroundings. Not far is the Milky Way Adventure Park & Wake Aqua Park; The Big Sheep Amusement Park is another 15 minutes’ drive.

The Spa room with its hot tub and sauna is generally available at Christmas/ New Year and from Easter to October half term, at no extra charge. The Spa Room is shared between all cottages – simply book it for private use – ideal!
