This B&B offers dog friendly 4 star B&B accommodation in an AONB with stunning views over the County Durham countryside. The B&B is a 100 year old farmhouse with 5 guest rooms on the first floor together with further guest accommodation in the ground floor annexe where pets are welcome.  The annexe offers many different room combinations; including a small family/disabled access room, large family room  or small 2 bed apartment.  Bee Cottage Guesthouse has 2 double rooms, 2 twin rooms & 1 twin/double rooms – all ensuite.

The Consett Bed & Breakfast is located on the C2C route (located on Panel 4 of the Sustrans Map between the 105 and 106 mile points (OS 1:5000 Landranger Sheet 87 Ref: NZ 067452 and OS 1:25000 Explorer Sheet 307 Ref: 067452)

Bee Cottage has secure storage for bicycles and can also provide evening meals, (if ordered in advance), as well as a licensed B&B, providing a one stop shop for all cyclists doing the C2C or just cycling in the area.

The Bed & Breakfast is ideally placed for visiting Beamish, Newcastle, Durham, Hadrian’s Wall, High Force Waterfall and the Metro Centre.
